FAQ

Are foreign sales worth more to Hollywood than domestic?

Yes, but it is only slightly. Around 17% of total revenue came from foreign sources in 2017. Domestic revenues made up 83%.

Over half of the world's population is actually located in overseas markets.

Many people will want to see your movie even though they may not have the opportunity to watch it at home.

How many movies does Hollywood make a year?

Hollywood studios produce around 3,000 films per year. It's true, there are three thousand!

Hollywood spends billions advertising these films. They spend millions producing them. They spend millions to promote them. How many end up being released in theaters?

Most likely, the answer is around 200-300. The question is, what happens to all the other 2,700+ films? Most of them are either released direct-to-video or just sit in storage.

But not all of them are destined to go unseen. Some have been chosen for distribution via Netflix or Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and iTunes, Google Play and other platforms.

Hence why don't more of these films be released? They're not available in theaters. They're too expensive.

They'd also be cheaper to produce and released in theaters.

That's where I come in. I can help you to find the best way to get your film into theaters.

I will teach you how to increase your return on investment (ROI), as well as increasing your chances of seeing the movie in theaters.

Let's face facts...

It can be hard to get your film into the theaters. It is a complex, long-winded and complicated process that requires a lot of legalities.

It can also come at a high cost before you even begin.

To make matters worse, the window of time during which you can distribute your film is extremely limited.

There's not enough time between the moment a film is completed and its theatrical debut.

Is Hollywood larger than Bollywood?

Producing a movie that is well-received by the public is the biggest challenge for film producers.

There are so many movies out there competing for your time and money. It's hard to stand out among the rest and get noticed.

But what makes a movie great? What makes an actor or director famous? Or a director? It's not only talent, but also luck. The best actors may be the best, but they will not succeed if they are writing bad scripts.

Films can be divided into two categories: blockbuster films with large budgets or independent productions. Blockbuster films can cost hundreds and millions of dollars to make and distribute. These blockbuster movies are usually produced by big studios who want their movies to reach as broad an audience as possible. But, these high-budget films are more appealing to older audiences.

Independent films are generally smaller-scale productions that may be financed by individuals or groups of investors. These films focus on niche markets or cater to particular tastes. They're usually less expensive to produce and market. They aren't always more affordable to watch, however. Many indie films are hard to find.

So, the question is, do we need both kinds of films? What are the best movies for independent cinema? Hollywood is bigger than Bollywood, according to me. Hollywood produces nearly twice as many movies annually as India.
